Hello my name is Brianna Thompson and I am proud to announce I am your 2019 Elk’s Rodeo Queen Candidate representing the Santa Maria Noontime Kiwanis! I am 17 years old and a Senior at Nipomo High School and also a student at Allan Hancock College. My parents are Danny and Angela Thompson of Nipomo and my brother is Trevor Thompson.
I have been very involved in Nipomo FFA participating in a Public Speaking and showing animals at the fair. My extra curricular activities include volunteering at Arroyo Grande Hospital and Jack’s Helping Hand Little Rider program every week and currently I am job shadowing in the Arroyo Grande Hospital Emergency Room. Riding horses is a passion of mine. I love going riding with my friends and carrying an Elk’s Rodeo Sponsor Flag for the last 5 years!
My future involves gaining my Bachelor Of Science in Nursing and becoming a Flight Nurse. I am so excited to represent an organization that does so much for the community!
The Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria Noontime is a service organization whose objective is to bring aid to children in need, with a majority of our efforts benefiting children in the Santa Maria Valley. This is why we are excited to be a part of this great Santa Maria tradition of giving back to the community, and honored to be once again sponsoring a Rodeo Queen Candidate for the 2019 Elks Rodeo Queen Contest on her journey to being crowned the next Elks Rodeo Queen!
The Elks Rodeo Queen Contest is an exciting and busy eight (8) weeks filled with fundraising events and activities for our Elks Rodeo Queen Candidate, her family, and our club. We are asking for your help in making our campaign a success, by attending our fundraising events listed below or becoming a sponsor.
